The City of DeFuniak Springs, Florida owns and operates the DeFuniak Springs Airport. The City retained URS Corporation Southern (URS) to update the Airport Master Plan. The Airport Master Plan update will serve as a management guide for airport development. The anticipated aviation needs of the DeFuniak Springs Airport have been identified, and the actions that should be undertaken to accommodate these needs have been organized into a programmed development plan. The planning study period is for a 20-year period, with consideration of site capabilities beyond that planned horizon. Development priorities, staging plans, and cost estimates are included for the improvements proposed in this Airport Master Plan update.
