Bring your kayak and/or paddle board and compete in a race against your sporting peers during LakeFest 2018 on Lake DeFuniak in the heart of the DeFuniak Springs historic district. Then, enjoy all the other activities and attractions of LakeFest 2018 with your entire family. Here's details on male/female competitive water sport races hosted by the City of DeFuniak Springs:

9am:  
            KAYAK Race (female) - 1 Mile.  1 person - Must provide kayak.

$20 Registration Fee.
 
  • Water Race Registration Form
  • Includes LakeFest T-Shirt
  • All Participants Must Be 15 Years & Older.  If under 18, must have parent/guardian permission.

Prizes and Awards:

  • 1st Place - 1st place medallion award and $75
  • 2nd Place - 2nd place medallion award and $50
  • 3rd Place - 3rd place medallion award and $25

Check-In / Arrival:  

  • Enter Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs at 7th Street and Circle Drive (intersection next to Train Depot / Walton Heritage Museum at 1140 Circle Drive).  Police officers and organizers will direct you to the launch area next to the amphitheater.

9:15am:

                 Paddle board.

$30 Registration Fee.
