Overview
The City Manager's Office is responsible for the daily administration of the City's operations. The city manager reports to the city council and
- oversees the City's various departments,
- prepares the agenda for council meetings,
- organizes the City's annual operating budget,
- fosters intergovernmental partnerships,
- and develops operational guidelines to ensure proper service to the residents and visitors of DeFuniak Springs.
The department includes:
- the city manager,
- city clerk,
- human resource manager,
- administrative assistant,
- grant writer/administrator.
