Administration

Overview

The City Manager's Office is responsible for the daily administration of the City's operations. The city manager reports to the city council and 

  • oversees the City's various departments, 
  • prepares the agenda for council meetings, 
  • organizes the City's annual operating budget, 
  • fosters intergovernmental partnerships, 
  • and develops operational guidelines to ensure proper service to the residents and visitors of DeFuniak Springs.

The department includes:

  • the city manager, 
  • city clerk, 
  • human resource manager,
  • administrative assistant, 
  • grant writer/administrator.
