The City of DeFuniak Springs, FL does not have a master plan for enhancing its parks.  The City Beautification and Tree Board members are now moving forward with developing a draft plan for city council's approval.  The process for adopting this plan may take up to a year. Here's the steps the board has taken to date:

  • September 3, 2020:  Board hears from Deputy City Manager Carisse LeJeune the definition of a parks master plan and presents examples from other cities.  Board votes to move forward with developing a plan to present to City Council.
