The DeFuniak Springs City Council meetings are held on the second Monday at 4:00 p.m. and the fourth Monday of each month at 9 a.m. CST. The meetings are held at the Walton County Courthouse, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, unless otherwise stated on the posted agenda. Please note: Meetings are occasionally cancelled, and special meetings and workshops are called on an as needed basis. You may check the Public Meetings Calendar on the home page to view the agenda, which is posted 48 hours in advance of each meeting.

The minutes of the Council meetings are presented to the Council for approval at the following meeting. Once approved by the Council, the minutes are available on our website or upon request for a minimal copy charge at City Hall. You may also listen to audio of each Council meeting by clicking on the drop down menu and selecting the Council Agenda Center date of which you are interested. Request to be on the Agenda. (WORD document). Due to the City Clerk's office on Tuesday at noon prior to the requested Council meeting. The request cannot be accepted after the deadline, as the meeting agenda must be posted within 48 hours of each meeting. No exceptions, as there are other statutory deadlines that must be met.
