Responsibilities
The Executive Assistant to the Mayor serves as an administrative secretary to the Mayor and provides executive support to the City Manager and other City officials.
These activities include:
- Primary telephone contact with public
- Posts notices
- Responding to requests for information and assistance from Council, staff, and citizens
- Maintaining records, filing, drafts, and correspondence for Mayor and other City officials
- Preparing proclamations and certificates
- Carrying out the process for the rental of City facilities
- Receiving all special event permits
- Preparing the City Event Calendar
