DeFuniak Springs Police, DeFuniak Springs Fire, and Walton Fire Rescue responded to a serious traffic crash involving 4 vehicles at the intersection of U.S. Highway 90 and N. 20th Street on Tuesday at approximately 11 a.m.

A 2007 white Toyota sedan, driven by a 16 year old Hanna Sutfin of DeFuniak Springs, pulled from S. 20th Street into the path of a 2002 white Ford pickup, driven by 36 year old Ryan Poole of DeFuniak Springs. Sutfin’s vehicle was pushed across U.S. Highway 90 W., and struck two unoccupied vehicles that were parked. Sutfin sustained serious injuries and was transported by EMS to Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. Poole was not injured.

Sutfin was issued a citation for failing to yield right of way at an intersection. The collision caused approximately $10,000 dollars in damages to the vehicles involved.
