DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – Today, ONVOI Global Services (OGS), which relocated its corporate headquarters to the DeFuniak Springs Airport (54J) in 2017, announced the acquisition of Monarch Aviation Maintenance. Monarch Aviation Maintenance a Cessna Certified Maintenance company that has been located in DeFuniak Springs for the last 7 years. “The acquisition of Monarch is a significant milestone for Onvoi Global Services here in DeFuniak Springs, the acquisition and investment and retooling will expand General Aviation Services in the Panhandle and bring more jobs to the City of DeFuniak Springs.

In 2017, OGS stood up it’s aviation operations division in DeFuniak Springs, bringing 20 jobs to the area as well as investing significantly in aircraft and equipment purchases in the Panhandle. OGS is the largest purchaser of fuel from the City’s FBO. In January 2018, OGS signed a contract with Trans State Airlines and GoJet Airlines to provide flight training for US Army Helicopter Pilots transitioning to the civilian workforce allowing Veterans to receive their commercial and Airline Transport Pilot Certification. As a defense contractor, OGS also provides aviation and administrative support services to various government agencies, that include the USAF, USN, USMC and the US Army. Aviation services include aircraft flight operations, maintenance, logistical support, training, range support, aerial surveillance, and repair operations. With over 100 employees spread-out across the United States, DeFuniak Springs now serves as home base for the growing DoD contractor business for OGS.
