Safe Ways to Pay Utility Bills

payment dropbox with words safe way to pay

The City of DeFuniak Springs is requesting citizens to partner with City staff to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) by voluntarily paying utility bills online or by dropping payments in the outside payment dropbox to reduce person-to-person contact in the payment process.

The secure payment dropbox is conveniently located in the back, parking area of DeFuniak Springs City Hall, 71 US Highway 90 West.  Debit or credit card payments can be made by calling 1-855-414-9015 or online at through the “Online Bill Pay” icon.  Those applying for new service can do so through the same City website where all forms are located.  Should citizens need assistance or to speak with a customer service representative, they can call City Hall at (850) 892-8500, option 2 for Utility Billing or email

City officials and staff take the COVID-19 outbreak seriously and are exercising caution for employees and citizens by encouraging safe practices such as paying for utilities in other ways than in person at City Hall.  If in-person utility billing services are necessary, City Hall remains open during normal business hours. Announcements to any change in city services will be provided through media releases, on the City’s website at and on the City of DeFuniak Springs Facebook page.  Citizens may also call DeFuniak Springs City Hall at (850) 892-8500 during normal business hours.
