[ARCHIVED] DEFUNIAK SPRINGS POLICE INVESTIGATES BURGLARY OF A LOCAL BUSINESS

On December 22nd, 2011 members from the DeFuniak Springs Police responded to a break-in at Stella’s Florist & Boutique located on 766 Baldwin Avenue.

Officers found evidence indicating that entry was gained by forcing the rear door to the business open. Once inside, the suspect(s) cut the electric, telephone, computer, and the security surveillance wiring. The cash register was also removed, which was located near the business. An undisclosed amount was reportedly stolen.

The investigation is still ongoing. The DeFuniak Springs Police encourages anyone that might have any information pertaining to this incident or any criminal activity to contact them immediately.
