[ARCHIVED] DeFuniak Springs Bank Robbed

DeFuniak Springs Police and the Walton County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating a robbery that occurred at Peoples National Bank located at 1452 U.S. Highway 331 South. The suspect entered the bank and presented a note demanding money. No weapon was shown, but the suspect did mention one.

The suspect is described as a middle aged white male wearing a black and gray sweatshirt and black ballcap, with blue jeans and white sneakers. He reportedly left on foot, with an undisclosed amount of money, towards Bob Sikes Road.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Any contact with this person, please contact your local law enforcement agency or dial 911.
