On February 13th, 2012 DeFuniak Springs Police responded to the area of 570 U.S. Highway 331 North to a crash involving three vehicles with reported injuries.
Officers arrived on scene to find that a 2006 Chevrolet Truck driven by Sheena L. McHenry was traveling south on U.S. Highway 331 when she veered into the north bound lane colliding into a 2003 Subaru Car driven by Richard D. Howell. The collision caused the Subaru to overturn.
The Chevrolet Truck continued its travel striking another vehicle that was parked at the residence of 570 U.S. Highway 331.
McHenry was transported via helicopter to Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was treated and later released. A passenger in the Subaru was transported to Healthmark Regional Medical Center for injuries that were believed not to be life threatening.
Mchenry was charged with careless driving and determined to be at fault. Investigation is still ongoing.
