[ARCHIVED] BAD WEATHER ADVISORY FROM DEFUNIAK SPRINGS POLICE

DeFuniak Springs Police wants to remind residents and visitors to practice extreme caution. We can’t rule out an isolated chance of tornadoes this afternoon and Wednesday. Even though there is no threat of a hurricane there is possibility of dangerous weather ahead.

DeFuniak Springs Police is still asking that our citizens please prepare for possible power outages. Even though the storm ISAAC seems to have turned away from our area there is still favorable weather that can produce tornados and/or damaging wind and rain.

Your safety is very important to us at the DeFuniak Springs Police and we are asking you the citizens to please stay inside and only leave your residence in an emergency, when / if dangerous weather threatens our area.
