The Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police, along with other area law enforcement agencies, will be conducting a comprehensive roadside safety checkpoint in front of the Northwest Florida State College Chautauqua Center located at 908 Highway 90 West on Friday, July 5, 2013. The checkpoint will be operational from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. The Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police is committed to reducing the number of unsafe vehicles and impaired drivers in our area. This checkpoint is being established with your safety in mind starting the weekend following the Fourth of July holiday. We appreciate your understanding while we strive to make our streets safer to travel.
