Officers were called to a residence on College Avenue in reference to a subject stealing their “Tide” laundry detergent of their carport. The residents had installed a camera after some suspicious activity. They discovered the burglary and theft while reviewing the video footage. The investigation Officer identified the suspect in the video as 52 year old Ozell Sputnik McNabb of DeFuniak Springs. Officers were unable to locate McNabb that evening and obtained an arrest warrant. McNabb was observed at a residence on Sloss Avenue and taken into custody.
McNabb was transported to the Walton County Jail on charges of Burglary of an Unoccupied Structure and Petit Theft. He is being held without bond, pending first appearance.
